We do not have to spend all our life time only in trying to understand why everything and everyone is, how the nature and the universe work.

We should also spend some time to look into ourselves to experience silence, reflect upon ourselves constantly and thus become more consciously aware of the treasure, potential and wisdom within us and outside us. Only then can we celebrate our unique presence with joy, health, wealth, harmony and enlightenment.

Facts, figures and truths are more powerful than our emotion, expectation, desire and imagination.

We must address them first practically through logic, effort and common sense and then can we become qualified to rejoice the outcome with the lens of our emotion. This then can be a celebration without fear or worry.

Srinivas Arka met with Alison Dixey the Operations Director (Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire) of the British Red Cross on 16th July 2010. An energetic discussion took place, exploring science; spirituality and serving humanity linking it in with human consciousness. One of the questions posed to Srinivas Arka by Alison Dixey was ‘where does he think humanity is going’? This again prompted some healthy and useful discussion.

Question

How does self-awareness and spiritual consciousness relate to being successful in work life?

Answer

Self Awareness and spiritual consciousness is not related just to one sphere of life, but to every stage and aspect of life.

To understand what success is. Please read the chapter Success and Failure in the book ‘Adventures in self discovery’

Being successful in work life means to be productive at work, it means better focus, confidence and communication, understanding people and clients, keeping oneself positive and assuring friends and colleagues. The foundation to all these is presence of mind and balance of emotion when required.

Prior to it you need good health, which comes from many factors; good food, fewer worries, letting go off something’s you cannot hold too long (even after struggling to do so), good rest, harmony in the family, trouble-free neighbours, and monetary resources. See how every sphere of our life is all interconnected It all begins from your mental and emotional state. Motivation is for the mind and body, but inspiration is for the heart.

It comes to you when we are receptive and open-minded with a spiritual affinity.

It means you need to do more than just think, you need to contemplate deeply on all you do and want to do. When your contemplation becomes even deeper it means you are in a meditative state where you connect with your inner self through the heart. That is where intuitive wisdom of the soul surfaces like tiny bubbles on the pond of the mind with which you are led in the direction you should be going. With which you radiate your true self, meaning and energy, this is what one truly wants to experience; one’s unmasked true personalities and unique presentation. As a consequence people get attracted to one another. Where harmony prevails, communication becomes clearer and the exchange of very inspiring knowledge takes place, then we all grow collectively towards higher consciousness.
