Srinivas Arka is a philosopher, author and speaker known for his
lectures and books that have inspired people to explore and
experience their deeper consciousness. Born in Karnataka, India,
Srinivas Arka began his journey of self-discovery at an early age
when he embarked on a search for the meaning of life through
serious inquiries into the timeless Self in the time-bound body,
skepticism, belief-systems and the nature of human
consciousness.
He complemented his spiritual development with formal
education, having graduated from the University of Mysore,
India with Masters in English accompanied with a high level of
study in Sanskrit and philosophy. After experiencing fulfillment
and enlightened clarity, Srinivas Arka started traveling the world
helping humanity by sharing his illuminating insights and
philosophy.
For over two decades Srinivas Arka has been traveling the world
sharing his thoughts with people from various backgrounds,
cultures and professions and meeting thinkers, professionals and
students. Articles by and about him have been published in many
journals, newspapers and magazines and he has been
interviewed on radio and television shows around the world.
Srinivas Arka has also been invited to give lectures and seminars
at universities and other educational institutions worldwide.
He has developed a unique and practical method of intuitive
meditation called Arka Dhyana for people to tap into their
potential. His philosophy has a meta-physical foundation. It
centers on the need for balance in our lives and the importance of
finding equilibrium in family, professional and social
responsibilities. He also demonstrates how science and
philosophical understanding and personal spiritual experiences
play complementary roles in expanding human consciousness,
harmony and greater health, and in creating a better
environment.
Srinivas Arka’s talks and guidance offer a rare combination of
scientific understanding with the blissful insights of spiritual
experience, nourishing both the mind and the heart.
The Center for Conscious Awareness in the U.K.
(centreforconsciousawareness.org) is a registered charity
founded by Srinivas Arka to study and understand the philosophy
of mind and methods to exploring its potential through a method
called Arka Dhyana (a practical approach based on touch and
sound).
The Arka Foundation in Mysore, India has been set-up as a not-for-profit organization with a vision of dedicating it to the
advancement of knowledge and education of India's cultural
heritage and wisdom.
