Dear Srinivas Arka

May I on behalf of us all at Mill Hill centre thank you for sharing on 4th May 2008 your deep and profound truths gained from your own direct experiences over many years. I believe we all felt elevated when you clearly showed us the way of connecting heartfelt experiences and using these to guide us on a higher path. Personally I felt even more blessed when, in your evening discourse, you  explained the practice of nishkama seva and connected it with Arka dyana meditation - a lot of food for thought and deeper assimilation

May I also thank Arka Dhyana study circle members for the most humble and effective method of explaining and demonstrating Arka Dhyana touch and sound meditation; if it is possible we would like to invite you plus any guests again where we can focus on this aspect with a special workshop.

Impressions from a noted Aeronautical Engineering Professional
Srinivas Arka, has touched the hearts of many by way of his profound and inspirational writings and lectures that have been contributing in a significant way to the enrichment of human life. He is a strong believer that peace can be attained through meditation and has developed the practical approach of the Arka Dhyana meditation technique, which gives way to attaining peace and also a journey in exploring and utilizing the dormant positive energies and creative talents in human.

The method of Arka Dhyana, is the outcome of many years of inspirational work by Srinivas Arka. People in different parts of the world like Australia, England, USA, Canada, Spain, New Zealand, Fiji, Mexico, just to name a few, have experienced Arka Dhyana and are reaping the fruits. Many have experienced physical, mental and spiritual benefits with positive progress in their everyday lives. Seminars have been conducted where intensive training, through theory and practice, has been imparted.

Srinivas Arka has written about Arka Dhyana and related topics in a very systematic manner explaining the most intricate and complex concepts in a simple form that is easily understood, which will serve as a valuable reference. It provides the reader with the concepts underlying the method of Arka Dhyana and also describes the method in detail with a very practical approach.

Arka Dhyana teaches us that there is a means, a natural and positive way to explore our minds and our deeper selves by gently allowing or calling the heart to take over whereby the mind will gracefully accept the new guidance. We can then naturally obtain insight and expansion into the deeper levels of our consciousness.

This philosophy and method brings our focus down to the centre of the heart region and thus increases our intuitive ability through which we are able to find our path in life. It enables our consciousness to shift into a greater awareness of our inner self as well as our environment.

I confidently state that this Arka Dhyana is philosophically and spiritually so profound and effective. Arka Dhyana brings out a new philosophy and a new concept for the progress of humanity through a balanced approach to our lives with a blend of scientific understanding and mystical insight.

Impressions from a noted Industrialist
I have known Yogi Arka for many years. He is a very special philosopher, author and speaker, who from a young age, has been spreading his message of spirituality and peace, traveling throughout the world. He is an enlightened master with abundant experience and wisdom.

I had the privilege of publishing his priceless book “Light of Learning” in Kannada, the regional language of Karnataka. It is useful not only for students but also for people of all ages.

Yogi Arka has developed a unique method of meditation, known as Arka Dhyana, a fine tuned intuitive meditation using touch and sound. He advises and teaches this to everyone who comes in search of peace. I have practised it myself and find it very uplifting, providing inner peace, helping with decision making and increasing intuitive faculties.

Many people around the world have been benefited spiritually by practising Arka Dhyana and trained teachers in different parts of the world are imparting this regularly to people in their respective countries.

I am sure that Yogi Arka’s message of peace and Arka Dhyana will reach one and all worldwide, especially in India, where I would like it to radiate and shower immense spiritual and health benefits to all people.

Impression on 'Adventures of Self Discovery' book
In this Book (Adventures in Self Discovery), Srinivas Arka in my opinion has a message relevant to all kinds of people, be they adherents of any particular religion or none, for as he states, “we all want to find inner peace and know the truth of life” and we seem to have made our lives increasingly artificial and mechanical, keeping too busy to have time to spare for our own inner progress.

In this book he is clearly aiming to redress the balance, and he is not being prescriptive, but as he points out we all have to find our own way and tailor our meditation in ways that suit ourselves.

The book is a relatively brief and readable overview of a huge range of concepts, and I feel it will be helpful to anyone in the early stages of asking the most important and fundamental philosophical questions concerning the meaning of life, why they are here, and how to be content, fulfilled and happy.  He stresses the importance of silence, solitude and also of meaningful activity, and of the need to listen for guidance, be it from an outside source such as nature, or from within, depending on our philosophy.

Many of his statements are similar to some of the principles utilized in psychological therapies, particularly some of the more cognitive approaches, but with more of an emphasis on the spiritual area than purely on the more intellectual, as well as on the need to explore our inner being and to listen to our intuition rather than just focusing on externals.

I found the book left me resolving to delve further and to make time to put some of his suggestions into practice.

Impression on 'Petals of the Heart' book from the Himalayas
This book contains all facts of life what the real human beings hold, but nowadays it is in everyone's heart but not in their physical life. We have forgotten the value of love, friendship, relationship. But it was really very good to see that somebody is still thinking and has written this book. I really loved this book. Thank you Mr.Arka for giving us this beautiful book.

Having practised Practical Intuitive Arka Dhyana, the obstacles in life are not as big and scary as perceived. I find I have more inner space to deal with everyday challenges. May it be situation I am not familiar with, to dealing with work related issues to achieving personal goals. I have more discipline to apply my will power to overcome habits and personal inhibitions. I find life becomes more balanced, inner awareness of my whole body allowing more inner space to deal with situations. It allows me to have more conscious awareness and have a clearer perspective on life and steer my life in a way I wish to live.

Recommendation for the book: Becoming Inspired "It was very well written and made excellent use of metaphors to explain his point of view. It was very wide-ranging, however, and a sort of blend of philosophy, religion and psychology."

Dear Friend,
Thank you for your presence, reflection and expression from the depths of your heart at the meeting last night in Mitcham. I felt new petals unfolding.

Thank you, too, for the new Petals of the Heart book and the kind inscriptions you wrote in them. It carries its message in its beautiful presentation alone. Some of the last quotation became part of the subject of last night's talk.

I am writing to thank Srinivas Arka for coming to Avonhead School on July 7th this year. His motivational talk on the value of education, setting goals, gaining inspiration and improving memory was truly inspiring.

This was a great opportunity for our year 7 and 8 students to meet someone whose philosophies allow the academic and the spiritual to complement each other.
