One can look at nature as functioning in three aspects or levels - primary, higher and highest nature.

Primary Nature is the way the visible universe exists and functions. It is the way elements interact with each other creating and recreating different beings and entities with vibrant life energies. This level contains vibrations moving very slowly to create seemingly solid matter. These are, on the whole, governed by natural disciplinary laws. This relates to our daily life, our bodies experiencing night and day, the elements, the seasons; we are generally very familiar with this level of nature. Our physical body is tangible, visible and therefore very closely associated with and connected to primary nature.

Higher Nature is a much broader version of primary nature. Our spirit or our consciousness is less tangible and is invisible to most beings/people/individuals; this level is associated with higher nature. Higher nature embraces primary nature.
Our inner spiritual experiences do not fit into the laws of primary nature. Not everyone can relate to their inner experience, especially when interpreted with mere rational thought (for example our night-time dreams). In higher nature the vibrations are finer, less tangible. There is more love and freedom at this level. From here you can access primary nature and also have the key to communicate with Highest Nature.

Highest Nature is a plane of existence where the expression of being knows no barriers or restraints. There is absolute freedom for the expression of the individual will. Here there are infinite possibilities, nothing is impossible.

A being can journey into any dimension without affecting the territory, consciousness or energies of others. Timelessness prevails in this plane where pure knowledge, pure spirit and pure love exist with total freedom. In order to access highest nature, we have to gain mystical experiences of our existence wholly through spiritual insights and inspirations. We can access this with subtle knowledge, with our intuitive wisdom.

The system is such that we can evolve in this dimension only through our spirituality, with a spirit of serving humanity. This eventually leads us to enlightenment. Although these three facets of Nature in Creation seem different to one another, they are simply the layers of the Universe.

Primary nature has more discipline, hence our physical existence with its many limitations. Higher nature also has discipline, but it is more flexible and contains more love and freedom. However, it is Highest Nature which is present everywhere on a more subtle level, wherein lies the most mystical treasures of wisdom. We originally emerged from there. That is our source. We will eventually return home to that subtle level.
