Arka Dhyana Retreat Mysore, India

Asmita Bhupendra Makwana, a qualified and experienced yoga teacher and Arka Dhyana instructor, based in Christchurch, New Zealand, has been imparting her knowledge for several years now. She has many students who have been undergoing training with her regularly in Christchurch.

Asmita organised a team of ten students to attend a retreat during April in Mysore at the Arka Foundation. They experienced Arka Dhyana in the peaceful and serene surroundings of the Centre.

The retreat also comprised a lecture on the history of the Sanskrit language, Yoga demonstration and workshop, Ayurvedic treatments and Community service at a village school.

Highlights of the retreat were the Discussion and Question and Answer session with Srinivas Arka and Arka Dhyana on full moon.
