On the occasion of Yogi Srinivas Arka's birthday, a special celebration was held at Arka Dhama in Mysuru, India, bringing together spiritual leaders, scholars, and community members. The event featured the launch of Srinivas Arka's latest Kannada book "Prajñā Padaragalu," a sharing of spiritual values from Indian culture, and the honouring of individuals for their dedicated social service.

Morning Ceremony
The celebration began at 7:30 am with a traditional puja and homa/havan at the Arka Maha Ganapathy spiritual centre at Arka Dhama. The sacred ceremony concluded with pūrnahuti in the presence of Yogi Srinivas Arka.
Book Launch and Honours
The main programme moved to Arka Dhyana Mandira, where Yogi Srinivas Arka and invited guests inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Dr. Sri Somashekhara Swamiji (Spiritual Guru, J.S.S. Charitable Institution, Mysore) delivered the inaugural speech, speaking highly of Yogi Arka and expressing his delight at attending the celebration. Dr. K. Anantaramu (Senior Scholar of Mysore) then offered an illuminating talk on the spiritual values of Indian culture, enriched with relevant quotes from classical literary works.
The centerpiece of the event was the launch of "Prajñā Padaragalu," the Kannada translation of Srinivas Arka's English book 'Becoming Inspired' (previously released at the House of Commons, England). Sri Prashanth introduced the book on behalf of Dr. P. Satyanarayana Bhat (Retired Principal, Government Ayurveda College & Hospital, Mysore), who was unable to attend. Sri Amshi Prasannakumar (Executive Editor, Kannadaprabha Newspaper, Mysore) then formally launched the book. The event was presided over by Dr. K. Raghuram Vajapeyi (Senior Social Worker, Mysore) and expertly coordinated by Sri N. Anantha (Founder, Himalaya Pratishtana, Mysore).

Srinivas Arka's Inspiring Address
The highlight of the celebration was a profound and inspiring talk by Srinivas Arka himself. He spoke about the importance of intuition—a faculty that emanates from the heart and is more powerful and effective than mere intelligence alone. He explained that intuition can be developed and strengthened through Arka Dhyana meditation.
Srinivas Arka shared that the content of his books flows from his inspirational talks, guided by his profound intuitive awareness. He quoted a verse from the Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 4, Verse 38): "na hi jñānena sadṛiśhaṁ," which means there is nothing as purifying as divine knowledge.
He emphasized that the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom helps us become better individuals and improves the quality of our lives far more than focusing on materialistic pursuits alone. Yogi Arka concluded his address by expressing heartfelt gratitude to all those present for their participation in the occasion.
Conclusion
The celebration concluded with sattvic lunch served to all attendees, completing a day filled with spiritual inspiration, cultural celebration, and community connection.
