A joyous evening unfolded on 17th August in Dorridge, Sollihull, where the audience was uplifted by Srinivas Arka's return to the UK on Shri Krishna Janmashtami, a festival celebrating wisdom and inner awakening. An occasion made even more momentous by the presence of the Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Annette Mackaenzie.

The audience received Srinivas Arka's inspiring words with open hearts. He explained that just as we have to prepare for an event, or an exam, we have much to prepare for ourselves to experience enlightenment or self-realisation.

Preparing for Enlightenment: The One Major Goal

ree

We have so many desires and great ambitions, yet time is limited. We have to set only one major goal in life.

To manage time, we must contemplate within ourselves, managing our mind first, and then our consciousness, thoughts and emotions. We should also try to understand the concept of time and how it works. There are so many layers of time: universal time, galactic time, cosmological time, biological time, psychological time.

The Many Layers of Time and Consciousness

Srinivas Arka offered deeper insights into the nature of time when undertaking a task. Dilation of time within your consciousness is the foundation. You have to feel that there is abundant time, and there is nothing to panic about, no stress or pressure, thinking that you can handle the task.

This understanding can only come to you with confidence, when you have realised the concept of time and the dilation of time, where in 5 minutes, you can feel there are 50 minutes. Your focus becomes doubled and the presence of mind can be felt. You will have overall conscious awareness of your presence and your work, after which you will be able to handle the task so effectively.

The Interconnection of Time, Space, and Awareness

Taking a step further, Srinivas Arka delved deeper, explaining that the concept of time can be understood well and deeply only when we understand space. Time and space are interwoven deeply, energy comes later. Space accommodates everything. Motion happens so precisely from our bodies to microbes, there is no mistake in nature, where natural forces are all working together. Everything is well coordinated and organised.

Taking us to the next step, Srinivas Arka further explained that time and space cannot be completely comprehended without understanding our consciousness, emotions, mind, heart, thoughts and so forth. However, the world is not there only to be understood—this should only serve as preparation. It is the experience of your presence that is important.

When you hold your fist, it is one experience, when you become consciously aware, it is another experience, when you feel "I am the fist, this is my representation," this is another experience. You can shift to different levels of your consciousness and note the effects structurally – physical presence, mental presence, emotional presence, deeper presence. The whole process of experiencing more consciously, more openly, with full involvement is called spiritual education or sadhana.

Discovering Your True Nature Beyond the Body

You know you are the master of your own body as you know intuitively, not intellectually, that you are not the body. It is part of your existence but you are not the body, you are different from the body.

When you disable yourself from the body, lying on the floor in yoga nidra, not participating in an activity in the body, you leave the body to work naturally without your involvement, then you know you are different from the body as it still functions. You are an observer now. You come to realise that you are superior to your own body and mind. With anything you want to undertake, if you are sincere and serious, you will be taken to your destination. The destination will be served as your reward for your dedication and commitment.

Whenever we join in internally with something, it becomes manifested, like light.

Arka Dhyana: The Path of Intuitive Meditation

ree

We are all blessed by mother nature, gifted with resources and equipment. It is up to us how much we explore and how we utilise our resources.

When we pursue with consistency, we will see manifestation of light. We have been given the will to extend our consciousness. Meditation or dhyana is a systematic approach towards not only understanding our consciousness but also to embrace life with full love, happiness and joy, having been gifted with such an amazing faculty. Dhyana can alter the biochemistry in the body.

Arka Dhyana, intuitive meditation is based upon the sense of touch, sound energy and being consciously aware of 19 key energy centers in the body, where you gain the ability to train your mind to work in different areas and in different ways. And then at the times when you need your mind, it is there for you. We can shift our conscious presence to different parts of the body to provide relief, which we can do via Arka Dhyana.

By understanding fundamental elements like time, space, consciousness, energy, matter – you have almost covered the entire universe. In order to understand one thing, we have to know the other, such as to understand happiness, we must know misery.

"We are more than we think, we are more than we can imagine, we are more than our bodies, when we come to know of this metaphysical, spiritual truth, then we feel relaxed."

A Night of Inspiration and Celebration

The inspiration Srinivas Arka awakened in the audience was a true testament to the depth of his presence and message. The evening ended with vibrant singing and dance performances that filled the atmosphere with joy and celebration.
